Terms of Use

[SC301 Clinic Online Membership Terms and Conditions]

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to comply with and stipulate matters concerning the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by SC301 Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), as well as other necessary matters, in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and its Enforcement Decree.

Article 1 (Purpose, etc.)

① The Terms of Use for SC301 Clinic (https://www.sc301.co.kr/) (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) aim to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Member and SC301 Clinic regarding the User’s use of the Internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) provided by SC301 Clinic.
② A person who wishes to become a member is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions by clicking the “Register” button after completing the prescribed procedures set by SC301 Clinic. Regarding the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the member and SC301 Clinic other than those stipulated in these Terms and Conditions, the Telecommunications Business Act and other relevant laws and commercial practices of the Republic of Korea shall apply.

Article 2 (Definition of Member)

“Member” refers to a person who accesses SC301 Clinic, registers as an online member of SC301 Clinic in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and receives the services provided by SC301 Clinic.

Article 3 (Membership Registration)

① A person who wishes to become a member applies for membership by filling in member information according to the membership form determined by SC301 Clinic and clicking the “Register” button.
② SC301 Clinic shall register as a member any person who has applied to become a member in accordance with Paragraph 1, unless such person falls under any of the following subparagraphs.
1. If the applicant has previously lost their membership status pursuant to Article 6, Paragraph 3 of these Terms and Conditions. However, this shall be an exception for those who have obtained approval for re-joining from SC301 Clinic after three years have elapsed since the loss of membership status pursuant to Article 6, Paragraph 3.
2. If there are false information, omissions, or errors in the registration information.
3. Other cases where it is determined that registering as a member would significantly impede the technical operations of SC301 Clinic

③ The time of establishment of the membership contract shall be the point in time when the approval of SC301 Clinic reaches the applicant.
④ If there is a change in the member information provided in Paragraph 1, the member must immediately correct and enter the change.

Article 4 (Provision and change of services)

① SC301 Clinic provides the following services to its members.
1. SC301 Clinic News Mail Service
2. SC301 Clinic Online Consultation Room / Reservation Service
3. Sections and content services for SC301 Clinic online members
4. Other various services provided in partnership with SC301 Clinic and other companies

② SC301 Clinic may provide the services specified in Paragraph 1 after notifying the member of the details and date of provision of the services to be changed in the manner prescribed in Article 7, Paragraph 2.

Article 5 (Service interruption)

① SC301 Clinic may temporarily suspend the provision of services in the event of maintenance, inspection, replacement, or breakdown of information and communication facilities such as computers, or interruption of communication, and may completely discontinue the currently provided services based on replacement with new services or other reasons deemed appropriate by SC301 Clinic.
② In the event of service suspension pursuant to Paragraph 1, SC301 Clinic shall notify the member in the manner prescribed in Article 7, Paragraph 2. However, this shall not apply in cases where prior notice is impossible due to service suspension caused by reasons beyond SC301 Clinic's control (such as disk failure or system downtime without intent or negligence on the part of the system administrator).

Article 6 (Withdrawal of membership, loss of qualification, etc.)

① A member may request SC301 Clinic to cancel their membership registration (withdraw membership) at any time, and SC301 Clinic shall take steps to cancel the membership registration of the relevant member immediately upon receiving such request.
② If a member falls under any of the following grounds, SC301 Clinic may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member's membership in an appropriate manner.
1. If false information is registered when applying for membership
2. Cases where the order of electronic transactions is threatened, such as by interfering with another person's use of the SC301 Clinic website or misappropriating their information.
3. If SC301 Clinic is used to engage in acts prohibited by laws and regulations and these Terms and Conditions, or acts contrary to public order and good morals

③ If the SC301 Clinic decides to revoke a member's membership, the membership registration shall be cancelled. In this case, the member shall be notified prior to the cancellation of registration and granted an opportunity to provide an explanation.

Article 7 (Notification to members)

① If SC301 Clinic provides notice to a specific member, it may do so via the email address registered with SC301 Clinic.
② When SC301 Clinic provides notice to an unspecified number of members, it may substitute individual notice by posting on the SC301 Clinic bulletin board for at least one week.

Article 8 (Protection of Member Personal Information)

SC301 Clinic strives to protect members' personal information, including member registration information, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The protection of members' personal information shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations and the “Personal Information Protection Policy” established by SC301 Clinic.

Article 9 (Duties of SC301 Members)

① SC301 Clinic shall not engage in acts prohibited by laws and regulations or these Terms and Conditions, or acts contrary to public order and good morals, and shall strive to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
② SC301 Clinic establishes a security system to protect members' personal information (including credit information) so that members can safely use internet services.
③ SC301 Clinic does not send commercial advertising emails that members do not want.

Article 10 (Obligations regarding member ID and password)

① Except in cases where SC301 Member is responsible under relevant laws and regulations and the “Privacy Policy,” each member is responsible for managing their own ID and password.
② Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
③ If a member becomes aware that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify SC301 Clinic and follow any instructions provided by SC301 Clinic.

Article 11 (Member's Obligations)

① Members must not commit any of the following acts.
1. Act of registering false information when applying for or changing membership.
2. The act of altering information posted on SC301 Clinic
3. Acts that infringe upon the personality rights or intellectual property rights of SC301 Clinic or other third parties, or interfere with business operations
4. Stealing another member's ID
5. Sending junk mail, spam mail, chain letters, mail encouraging membership in pyramid schemes, mail containing obscene or violent messages, images, or audio, or any other act of disclosing or posting information that is against public order and morals.
6. Transmitting or posting information (computer programs, etc.) whose transmission or posting is prohibited by relevant laws and regulations.
7. The act of posting messages or sending emails by impersonating or posing as an employee of SC301 Clinic or an administrator of SC301 Clinic's internet service, or by using another person's name without permission.
8. Posting or sending by e-mail any material containing software viruses or other computer codes, files, or programs designed to disrupt or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
9. Harassing other members, such as stalking.
10. Collecting, storing, or disclosing personal information about other members without consent.
11. Engaging in profit-making activities using the services of SC301 Clinic by means such as posting advertisements or promotions targeting an unspecified number of people or sending spam emails.
12. Acts violating the terms and conditions or other regulations regarding the use of services stipulated for the services provided by SC301 Clinic

② If there is a member who has committed an act falling under Paragraph 1, SC301 Clinic may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member's membership in an appropriate manner as stipulated in Paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 6 of these Terms and Conditions.
③ The member is responsible for compensating SC301 Clinic or other members for damages incurred due to causes attributable to them.

Article 12 (Deletion of Public Posts)

If the content of a member's public post falls under any of the following subparagraphs, SC301 Clinic may delete the relevant post without prior notice to the member and may restrict, suspend, or revoke the member's membership.
1. Content that defames or slanders other members or third parties and damages their reputation.
2. Content that distributes information, sentences, figures, etc. that violate public order and morals.
3. Content deemed to be related to criminal activity
4. Content that infringes on the copyrights or other rights of other members or third parties.
5. If the purpose is clearly advertising or commercial.
6. Content deemed to violate other relevant laws and regulations

Article 13 (Attribution of copyright and restrictions on use)

① Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by Member SC301 belong to Member SC301.
② Members shall not use information obtained by using SC301 Clinic for commercial purposes by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods, nor allow a third party to use it, without the prior consent of SC301 Clinic.

Article 14 (Provisions on Consultation)

① The content of consultations conducted through the service may be used for the following purposes after deleting personal information.
1) Academic activities
2) Medical activities
3) Medical services
4) Copyright activities such as printed materials and CD-ROMs
5) Some of the service contents such as FAQ, recommendation consultation, etc.

② In the case of requesting consultation as follows, the consultation service may not be provided in whole or in part.
1) If you repeatedly apply for consultation with the same content
2) If you request a consultation using expressions that go against common sense or using empty language.
3) When requesting a consultation requesting a diagnosis
4) When requesting consultation regarding treatment costs, examination costs, drug prices, drug effects, etc.
5) When consulting for the purpose of obtaining information to harm others

Article 15 (Revision of Terms and Conditions)

① SC301 Clinic may amend these Terms and Conditions to the extent that such amendment does not violate relevant laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Electronic Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.
② If SC301 Clinic amends these Terms and Conditions, it will specify the effective date and the reason for the amendment and post a notice on the initial screen along with the current Terms and Conditions from 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date.
③ If SC301 Clinic amends these Terms and Conditions, the amended terms shall apply to members who joined prior to the amendment, provided that the amended content does not violate relevant laws.
④ Members who object to the changed terms and conditions may withdraw their membership in accordance with Article 6, Paragraph 1.

Article 16 (Jurisdiction)

Any lawsuit arising from a dispute regarding the use of the service between members of SC301 Clinic shall be filed in a court in the Republic of Korea having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

(Appendix)

These Terms of Use are effective as of June 27, 2017, and will remain in effect until new Terms of Use are issued.
