Starting a rigorous diet in early 2024 to lose 10 to 20 kg is difficult, but not impossible. However, doing so can lead to a decrease in breast volume and even sagging. A woman's breasts develop rapidly during secondary sexual characteristics, which occur between the ages of 10 and 15, and reach their final size and shape around the age of 18 to 20. However, if sufficient nutrients are not supplied or if there is excessive stress during the period of secondary sexual characteristics, normal growth does not occur, and breast growth stops in an abnormally underdeveloped state.

The surgical method of using stem cells to expand the size of breasts that have stopped growing is called 'stem cell breast augmentation.' Unlike conventional methods that involve inserting implants, this surgery utilizes fat from areas with high fat content, such as the thighs and abdomen, as the primary material. As a result, it allows for natural volume and a texture identical to one's own breasts, making it a 'new concept surgical method' highly preferred by women who have complexes due to underdeveloped breasts.

Stem cell breast augmentation is a surgical method in which stem cells are extracted from excess fat, blended with high-purity fat cells in a golden ratio, and evenly transplanted to all layers of the breast requiring volume. Through this process, the action of the stem cells creates new blood vessels and continuously supplies nutrients to the transplanted fat cells, causing them to settle into tissues similar to the breast tissue and establish themselves semi-permanently. After an engraftment process of approximately six months, the survival rate reaches an average of around 70%, allowing for semi-permanent results with just a single surgery. Above all, since volume is created using autologous fat rather than foreign materials like implants, it offers the advantage of achieving a natural appearance and volume comparable to one's own breasts. Furthermore, because fat is injected through small injection points of 2 to 5 mm using an ultra-fine cannula, the risk of scarring is very low, and the recovery period is short, lasting less than one week. 

The most critical factor in 'stem cell breast fat grafting' surgery is the 'survival rate.' If an excessive amount of fat cells is injected, they collide and stick together, preventing them from receiving nutrients. Consequently, the fat cells die, and as these dead cells accumulate over time, side effects such as massive calcifications or oil cysts occur. Therefore, it is essential to generate blood vessels so that the transplanted fat cells can settle quickly. This is the role that stem cells play. Stem cell breast fat grafting promotes blood vessel formation and the secretion of growth factors, thereby rapidly repairing damaged tissue and increasing the survival rate.

The engraftment rate of simple breast fat grafting without stem cells is only around 10–20%. In contrast, the engraftment rate of stem cells is over 70%. According to the study “A Review of Breast Augmentation by Fat Grafting Using Vascular Stromal Fractions” published in the SCI international journal “Annals of Plastic Surgery,” the engraftment rate of fat cells at 18 months after stem cell breast augmentation surgery reaches an average of 77.48%.

However, there are specific points to consider for effective stem cell breast fat grafting. Most women lacking breast volume have a slender build, resulting in a scarcity of available fat for harvesting. To secure healthy fat, it is crucial to ensure proper nutrition through systematic dietary management prior to surgery. Furthermore, the proficiency and skill of the medical team regarding stem cell breast fat grafting can be judged based on the amount of accumulated data regarding surgical outcomes. Confirming the existence of published research papers before deciding on surgery is essential to ensure the best possible results.
