[Patient Bill of Rights]

All patients possess dignity and value as human beings and have the following rights and corresponding responsibilities and obligations to lead a healthy life.

Patients' Rights
① Patients have the right to be respected as persons based on their dignity and value as human beings.
② Patients have the right to receive equal medical services without being discriminated against for any reason, such as nationality, gender, age, religion, economic or social status, or type of disease.
③ Patients have the right to choose a designated doctor and medical institution for the best possible medical care.
④ Patients have the right to receive medical services from legally qualified medical professionals.
⑤ Patients and guardians have the right to request information and records regarding the patient's medical records.
⑥ Patients and guardians have the right to hear explanations regarding the patient's disease state and the purpose, method, content, and results of the treatment, and to choose the treatment method or refuse treatment.
⑦ Patients and guardians have the right to hear an explanation of the contents of documents related to medical procedures before signing them.
⑧ Patients and guardians have the right to know the details of medical expenses incurred for medical procedures.
⑨ The patient has the right not to have all secrets regarding information related to the disease and treatment, and privacy, infringed upon.
10. Patients and guardians have the right to express their opinions and receive a response if they have any complaints regarding medical services or other matters within the hospital.

Patient's responsibility
① The patient is responsible for providing medical staff with matters related to treatment, such as current symptoms, past medical history, medication, and other records, either directly or through a legal representative.
② If there are any unknown points regarding your treatment, you have the responsibility to verify them.
③ The patient has the responsibility to participate in the treatment plan recommended by the medical staff and to cooperate with the treatment.
④ The patient is responsible for the consequences resulting from non-compliance with the treatment plan.
⑤ Patients have a responsibility to respect other patients and medical staff, and to value the hospital's assets.
⑥ The patient is responsible for fulfilling financial obligations related to treatment.
⑦ The patient is responsible for complying with the hospital's rules and regulations.
