May Bride, the plastic surgery part she wants most before marriage is 'breasts'

Ms. Gomo (30), a prospective bride, recently had an embarrassing experience while trying on a dress ahead of her wedding photoshoot. After receiving a proposal, she went on a strict diet for her wedding, just like any other bride. She was happy for a moment after hearing people say she had become "much slimmer," but then her chest volume decreased too much, making the dress fit poorly.

I was taken aback by the remark that while the waist could be reduced as much as needed, it was somewhat difficult to work on the chest area. When I tried wearing a so-called "push-up bra," it felt unnatural and awkward. With about three months left until the wedding, I wondered if there was a better solution and decided to undergo stem cell breast augmentation. A month later, during the wedding photoshoot, I was able to captivate everyone's attention with my slim figure and voluptuous breasts.

With the peak wedding season in May, quite a few women are engaging in 'wedding preparation.' They are striving to become radiant brides, whether by visiting aesthetics clinics for skincare, making a final push at the gym, or erasing insecurities with minor procedures.

In a survey of 500 brides-to-be, the most desired cosmetic procedure ahead of the wedding was found to be 'breasts.' Body contouring ranked second. This is likely because while facial changes can be covered up with bridal makeup, there are limitations to changing one's body shape in a short period of time.

In reality, brides-to-be often receive breast massages, consider breast augmentation acupuncture, or try breast-lifting exercises ahead of their wedding. A significant number also purchase breast enlargement creams. However, it is true that it is difficult to expect groundbreaking results from these methods. Even if they want to undergo breast surgery, they have been unable to easily make the decision due to concerns about long-lasting side effects.

Dr. Shin Dong-jin, director of SC301 Clinic, said, “In reality, breast augmentation surgery using implants requires post-operative care such as massage, and the long-lasting aftereffects interfered with daily life,” adding, “Recently, fat grafting, in which fat is extracted from areas with excess fat such as the abdomen and thighs and transplanted into the breasts instead of implants, is gaining popularity.”

He added, “When breast augmentation is performed using autologous fat, the softness, volume, and elasticity are natural, resulting in high satisfaction.”

However, simply injecting fat had a limitation in that the engraftment rate was low, ranging from 20 to 30, as the transplanted fat was quickly absorbed by the tissue. Recently, an upgraded version called 'stem cell breast augmentation' that addresses this issue has been receiving a positive response.

Director Shin explained, “By injecting adipose-derived adult stem cells contained in the patient’s adipose tissue, the engraftment rate can be increased to the 70s through the stem cells’ immunosuppressive response, the resulting anti-inflammatory effect, differentiation into fat cells, cartilage cells, bone cells, and muscle cells, and the induction of angiogenesis.” He added, “To achieve proper stem cell breast augmentation results, approximately 1 million or more stem cells must be administered in a single procedure, and this figure can be verified using a cell counting device.”

He has proven the high engraftment rate of stem cell breast augmentation through papers published since 2012. In a paper published in 2013, he analyzed the results of stem cell breast augmentation on 200 patients in their 20s to 50s who were available for follow-up observation for one year and revealed that the chest circumference increased by an average of about 5 cm regardless of age.

Here, 'microcapsules' are injected to further enhance the engraftment rate. The composition within the capsules acts as a booster that increases the engraftment rate by diffusing stem cells and forming and expanding blood vessels. This improves the problem of requiring 'retouching'.

Brides-to-be with only a short time left often hesitate to decide on surgery due to concerns about time constraints. However, there is no need to worry too much, as full recovery from stem cell breast augmentation takes place within one to two months. Nevertheless, localized swelling may occur after the surgery, so it requires proper management. To effectively reduce swelling, the priority is to promote smooth blood circulation.

Director Shin Dong-jin advised, “Consuming foods that promote blood circulation or taking light walks after surgery is helpful,” adding, “However, you should not be overly ambitious, as strenuous exercise can actually lower the survival rate of fat cells.”

He said, “Stem cell cosmetic surgery is safer and more effective than conventional surgical methods if performed with specialized knowledge and skilled techniques,” adding, “Our hospital performs meticulous handmade surgeries to create natural breast lines, thereby increasing patient satisfaction.”
