Finishing touch to your crop top look: 'Slim your abdomen, boost your bust'

One of the areas women pay attention to during the summer is their 'chest.' Tops are becoming thinner, and exposure is becoming bolder. In the 'crop top' fashion trend that has been gradually gaining popularity since last year, the line extending from the chest down to the abdomen determines the fit of the outfit.

A crop top is a short top that exposes the abdomen, often like a 'belly shirt.' It can accentuate femininity by highlighting the body's lines. While this outfit can be embarrassing if the abdomen is bulging, it can also look flat and lacking curves if there is too little chest, making it look like an elementary school student trying to imitate an adult.

Women with a chubby abdomen but small breasts have likely wondered at some point, "Couldn't I transfer my abdominal fat to my chest?" In fact, this effect can be achieved through stem cell breast augmentation. An upgraded version of simple autologous fat grafting, stem cell breast augmentation injects the patient's own excess fat into the underdeveloped breasts to create a voluminous silhouette. After the surgery, the abdomen becomes slimmer while the breast volume is preserved, allowing the patient to comfortably wear crop tops.

Stem cell breast augmentation utilizes adipose-derived adult stem cells to raise the engraftment rate of simple fat grafting, which previously hovered around 20–30%, to the 70% range. Dr. Shin Dong-jin, Director of SC301 Clinic, introduced the procedure, stating, “In conventional surgery, the desired results required repeated fat injections at least 2 to 4 times, but stem cell breast augmentation is highly regarded because it improves upon this inconvenience and poses almost no risk of calcification.”

However, most women are hesitant to undergo surgery because they worry that the recovery period will be prolonged or that aftereffects such as bruising and swelling will last a long time.

Director Shin explained, “Some people misunderstand the appearance of bruising or swelling after surgery as a side effect, but there is no need to worry too much as this is part of the recovery process. Swelling occurs when blood vessel tissue is damaged, and bruising forms when bleeding that occurs during or after surgery is not immediately absorbed into the body.”

He added, “If you do not possess the skills and know-how derived from extensive experience in liposuction and grafting, do not select the equipment properly, or do not perform thorough post-operative care after fat grafting, swelling and bruising may persist for a long time.”

SC301 Clinic utilizes techniques that minimize damage to normal tissue during surgery to reduce swelling and bruising. In addition, they manage expensive oxygen tanks and provide thorough post-operative care to alleviate patient discomfort.

If bacterial infection occurs during the surgical procedure, the recovery period may be prolonged or unexpected results may occur. SC301 Clinic is equipped with specialized equipment and utilizes accumulated know-how to maximize stem cell density during the procedure, thereby achieving a high fat cell survival rate. In addition, the clinic has enhanced patient satisfaction by providing two types of pre- and post-operative care to further maximize the survival rate.
