College student Park (23) cannot take off her bra 365 days a year. Having a complex about her breasts, she not only puts in pads but also practices the "wearing three bras" trend that became a hot topic on social media. She wears a wired bra that fits her breasts, then puts on a bra one size larger to compensate, and then puts on a bra one size larger than that to aim for a natural enlargement effect.

"I feel a complex about the size of my breasts, so I end up wearing three bras at a time, and I feel sorry for myself," said Ms. Park. "I have tried exercising and even taken health supplements that are said to be good for breasts, but I know very well that the only fundamental solution is 'surgery'."

She continued, “I have saved up almost all my part-time job earnings and am preparing to get breast augmentation, but I will continue to wear three bras until the surgery,” adding, “I definitely want to get the surgery before the summer when the weather gets hot.”

It was found that there are many women like Ms. Park who say, “I can’t take off my bra because I’m afraid my breasts will get smaller if I don’t wear one.”

Recently, as the S-line figure—with curves in all the right places and not just a thin frame—has gained popularity, quite a few women do not take off their bras to maintain a beautiful breast shape.

A recent survey conducted by a lawmaker on the topic of "how long do women usually wear a bra?" revealed that more than half (60.7%) answered that they "always wear one." The biggest reason they cannot take off their bras was "to make their breasts look bigger and prettier" (57.9%).

The most commonly worn type of bra among them was found to be 'wired bras' (84.4%).

Wired bras are underwear designed to correct body imperfections by featuring steel wires embedded in the underbust line; although they can cause issues such as excessive compression, people are unable to give them up for aesthetic purposes.

You should be careful, as improper washing can alter the shape of the underwire, abnormally compressing the breasts, deforming their shape, or adversely affecting metabolism.

Shin Dong-jin, director of SC301 Clinic, pointed out, “There are virtually no functional undergarments that can compensate for breasts that are already sagging or have different shapes on each side.” He added, “If you wear a tight-fitting bra all day to hide small breasts or create cleavage, the underwires can obstruct breathing, leading to shallow breathing that may result in decreased cardiopulmonary function and chest pain.”

Recently, rather than covering up flaws with underwear, quite a few women are seeking to improve their complexes by completely correcting underdeveloped breasts. Women who wish to avoid surgery prefer 'autologous fat graft breast augmentation.'

This procedure is a biocompatible surgical method that involves purifying fat cells extracted from the patient's own abdomen or thighs and inserting them into the breasts, instead of using conventional artificial breast implants such as saline or silicone bags. However, a limitation is that the survival rate is only in the 20–30% range, so it does not last long.

Under these circumstances, the popularity of 'stem cell breast augmentation,' which addresses the low engraftment rate of conventional simple autologous fat grafting, is continuously rising. While retaining the principles of autologous fat breast augmentation, the addition of stem cells compensates for limitations such as low engraftment rates. By combining extracted fat with the body's own stem cells, the engraftment rate is boosted, resulting in minimal loss of transplanted fat and allowing for sufficient volume to be achieved with a single surgery.

Director Shin Dong-jin introduced the procedure, stating, “Stem cell breast augmentation retains the principles of autologous fat breast augmentation but integrates the extracted fat with the body’s own stem cells. Thanks to this, the engraftment rate is high, resulting in minimal loss of transplanted fat, allowing for sufficient volume to be achieved with a single surgery.”

He continued, “Stem cells are isolated from a portion of the centrifuged fat, mixed with the centrifuged fat, and transplanted to the necessary area,” adding, “Stem cells are suitable for breast augmentation because of their excellent ability to maintain volume.” The stem cells primarily used in this process are 'fat-derived adult stem cells.'

Meanwhile, Director Shin Dong-jin has been consistently proving the high engraftment rate of stem cell breast augmentation through research papers since 2012. In a paper published in 2013, an analysis of the results of stem cell breast augmentation on 200 patients aged 20 to 50 who were observed for one year showed that chest circumference increased by an average of about 5 cm regardless of age, thereby enhancing credibility.
