'Childlike Body Shape' Complex… How to Safely Add Volume?

Ms. Park (34, female), an office worker, has recently been seriously considering whether she should get breast augmentation. She has been taking swimming lessons regularly and was horrified when she saw a group photo taken. Compared to other housewives her age, her breasts were so flat that anyone could see the difference. Her husband burst into laughter upon seeing the photo. She was even more furious because he usually teased her by saying, "That’s not breasts, it’s mosquito bites."

Ms. Park decided to take this opportunity to get breast augmentation using her secret funds to get rid of her complex. However, she was reluctant to have the surgery with implants. She was worried that the unnatural feel or shape might make her look awkward as she aged. Upon hearing Ms. Park's concerns, a friend in the same class recommended "stem cell breast augmentation," which her younger sister had undergone.

The popularity of fat grafting surgery shows no signs of waning amidst plastic surgery trends that prioritize naturalness and safety. However, a limitation of simply injecting fat is that the survival rate is low, ranging from 20% to 30%, causing the enlarged breasts to suddenly collapse.

Recently, stem cell-based fat grafting has emerged as a major trend to complement this. It is highly preferred because it simultaneously satisfies three requirements: sufficient volume enhancement, a natural shape, and a texture that feels like one's own breasts.

Dr. Shin Dong-jin, director of SC301 Clinic, introduced the procedure by stating, “Stem cells extracted from the patient’s body are injected into the body along with the fat,” and added, “Adding stem cells induces the formation of blood vessels around the cells, causing the engraftment rate to jump to the 70% range and resulting in high satisfaction.”

He added, “Stem cell cosmetic surgery is safer and more effective than conventional surgical methods if performed with specialized knowledge and skilled techniques.”

Director Shin is the first innovator of stem cell breast augmentation, having developed a breast augmentation method that fully utilizes the effects of stem cell surgery and raised the engraftment rate of transplanted fat cells to over 70%.

He developed and filed a patent for a 'composition that promotes tissue regeneration in fat grafting' designed to increase the fat engraftment rate. Ingredients such as polydeoxyribinucleotide, a liquid cell growth promoter, are utilized and encapsulated in microcapsules for administration during the stem cell fat grafting process.

Based on research data from 2007 to 2010, efficacy and safety were proven through two papers. In 2013, an analysis of the results of stem cell breast augmentation on 200 patients aged 20 to 50 observed for one year demonstrated that chest circumference increased by an average of approximately 5 cm regardless of age. The women who underwent the procedure received an injection of at least 90 cc and up to 260 cc of fat cells and stem cells into each breast.

Director Shin Dong-jin stated, “Since the mammary glands are not damaged during surgery, there are no difficulties with breastfeeding,” adding, “We are increasing patient satisfaction by creating natural breast lines through meticulous handmade surgery.”

Even women who are concerned about sagging breasts after childbirth can use this method to regain their former firm and shapely breasts.

SC301 Clinic utilizes a secret weapon to enhance the engraftment rate after stem cell breast augmentation. As part of pre-operative care, it creates a suitable habitat within the breast tissue for the extracted fat cells and stem cells to fully enter.

For individuals with very small or thin breasts, even if fat cells or stem cells are injected, it is difficult for them to survive because the space within the breast is too cramped or the tissue is composed of hard, dense tissue. In such cases, negative pressure, a device used to expand the breast, is utilized to enlarge the space within the breast where the cells will settle before the procedure.

It is similar to the popular 'Brava' on the market, but has stronger negative pressure, making it effective for breast expansion. Typically, 'preparatory work' is performed using the device 3 to 5 times before the procedure, for 30 to 60 minutes each time.

Director Shin explained, “If stem cell breast augmentation is performed after pretreatment with a negative pressure generating device, the viability of the stem cells increases, just as seeds are sown in soil that has been softened by plowing a hard field.”
