The wedding season is approaching. The point that prospective brides care most about is choosing a dress. Nowadays, dresses that emphasize cleavage to highlight femininity are popular. However, not every bride can achieve this dream. There are many brides who find it difficult to achieve a cleavage. Yet, attempting breast augmentation surgery is often too risky. Dr. Shin Dong-jin of SC301 Clinic stated, "Many women want breast augmentation but hesitate to make a decision," adding, "In such cases, stem cell transplantation can be an alternative."
The reasons people are reluctant to undergo breast augmentation are the scarring and swelling that result from the surgery, as well as the difficulties associated with post-operative care. If implants are inserted, one must also endure the inconvenience of wearing drainage bags or compression bandages for an extended period.

Low side effects and good effectiveness

If you are concerned about such issues, you might consider 'stem cell autologous fat grafting.' This procedure involves extracting fat from areas such as the abdomen and thighs, separating it into fat cells and stem cells, and then transplanting them into the breasts. Surgery and discharge can be completed within a single day. Since it utilizes your own fat cells, there are fewer side effects, and the results are natural. The fat can take root and look good one to two months after surgery.
A survey of approximately 2000 women who received this procedure at SC301 Clinic revealed that those in their 30s accounted for 30% of the total. This is a result of the increasing number of people in their 30s seeking the treatment as the age of first marriage rises.
Director Shin explained, “If only fat cells are transplanted, they are absorbed and lost to the original breast tissue in a short time.” He added, “To overcome this, stem cells must be extracted from the fat tissue and injected into the breasts.” Last August, he published a paper titled “Analysis of Clinical Effects of Breast Augmentation via Fat Graft Using Adult Adipose Stem Cells.” The paper reported that stem cell breast augmentation raised the engraftment rate of both fat cells and stem cells to over 70%. In contrast, the engraftment rate of conventional simple fat grafting is merely 20–30%.
The procedure is also highly effective. 200 to 250 cc of fat is transplanted per breast. This is similar in size to an implant. Additionally, since 1000 cc of fat is extracted for transplantation, it offers the benefits of liposuction. It can also remove excess fat from the thighs and abdomen.

Beware of 'fake stem cell procedures'

The sustainability and cost of stem cell effects vary depending on the extraction method and related equipment. Stem cell extraction methods are divided into those that draw small amounts from blood or bone marrow and those that extract from fat. To maintain a sufficient engraftment rate, at least 7000 million fat-derived stem cells must be administered. However, the number of cells extracted from blood or bone marrow is significantly insufficient.
The stem cell extraction equipment also affects treatment satisfaction. Generally, stem cells extracted from the latest equipment, such as HuriCell and TGI, are known to have higher survival rates and cell densities.
Director Shin stated, "Even with the same stem cell treatment, the results can be unsatisfactory," adding, "It is important to receive treatment at a medical institution equipped with the necessary equipment and performing the procedure meticulously." To minimize potential harm, it is also necessary to verify the exact number of stem cells injected using a 'cell counting' device. The number of stem cells affects the engraftment rate of fat cells. Without measuring the cell count, it is difficult to gauge whether the engraftment rate remains above expectations.
Swelling may occur after the procedure, but it is not a cause for concern. With careful management, this swelling will not be a major issue. It can be reduced by drinking plenty of water and engaging in light exercises or walking. However, you should avoid strenuous exercise that causes you to sweat, as this lowers the graft survival rate and hinders the resolution of swelling. It is also advisable to refrain from salty foods, which inhibit fluid loss.
